BrightBee - English and Math for Kids is committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially children. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information within our mobile application.

1. Information Handling and AI Features

We do not collect any personal information from users (such as name, email, phone number, or address), and no account creation is required.

• Interactive AI Tutor: The app includes an interactive AI tutor feature powered by Google's Firebase and Gemini API backend. When a user types a text message to the AI tutor, the text is transmitted securely and processed ephemerally solely to generate an educational response. This conversation text is stored locally on your device and is not saved or retained on our cloud servers.

2. AdMob and Third-Party SDK Data

We use Google AdMob (with child-appropriate settings enabled) to serve ads and Google Firebase to support app functionality. These third-party SDKs automatically process certain device data, which includes:

• Device or Other IDs: Unique device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or Firebase Installation ID) are collected for app functionality and shared securely with third-party networks for advertising and marketing purposes.
• Technical Data: Device type, operating system version, and general app usage statistics.

We have enabled the tag_for_child_directed_treatment and tag_for_under_age_of_consent flags as required by Google’s Families Policy to ensure completely child-appropriate ad content and privacy compliance.

3. Data Control and Deletion

Because BrightBee operates locally on your device and does not store personal user data on remote cloud servers, we do not host user accounts to delete. Users have absolute control over their local data: you can permanently erase all chat histories and stored configurations at any time by clearing the app data in your device settings or by uninstalling the application.

5. Children’s Privacy

BrightBee is designed for children. We strictly comply with COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) and Google Play’s Families Policy. We do not knowingly collect, store, or profile personal information from children.
